Raising funds for Life’s Little Treasures Foundation

The 1st of October was a beautiful day at RuYi as we hosted a charity lunch for Life’s Little Treasures Foundation (LLTF) – one of Australia’s leading charities supporting sick and premature babies.

Sharing stories and support

The event was a cocktail and canapé lunch for around 50 guests, supported by RuYi and hosted by Mercy Fun – who was herself a premature baby. Though held in support of a serious issue, the day was light and atmospheric. There was beautiful food and drink, the joy of socialising with new people and the pleasure of listening to Mercy debut her original music.

Throughout the afternoon, stories were exchanged and friends made. We want to thank Tarni from LLTF for being our guest speaker and graciously sharing her story of birthing premature twins.

Over $6,000 raised

Everything from the raffle prizes to the sound system were donated in an amazing effort by a range of sponsors. RuYi were extremely proud to lend our full support for this event; donating our venue, drinks, and food. This means all proceeds from the event could be donated directly to LLTF – with more than $6,600 raised overall.

The event day raffle was a huge success, bringing in over $1,110 from raffle ticket sales. The raffle was generously supported by the likes of Baby Bunting, GIANT Bikes, Siglo and The City Wine Shop, Elk the Label, Village Cinema Vouchers and many more. It meant a lot to the RuYi team to be part of an event like this, especially one initiated by a strong young woman like Mercy.

With 48,000 families affected by sick or premature babies each year, your generosity is always appreciated. You can donate to Life’s Little Treasures Foundation at any time by visiting their website.
